After the predictable outcry the Mail on Sunday offered me a right of reply. This was then sneakily squashed beneath a concocted story headlined Fern Britton hits back at Crimewatch founder’s book\u00a0 Fern had not read the book and, so far as I know, has no criticisms of my views.<\/p>\n
